![]() ![]() Where does she go? What does she do? So it’s exciting from that sense. I’ve been telling fans all year you’re going to have more questions than answers, because now this opens up a whole different can of worms. They’d just been like, “Ahsoka lives or Ahsoka dies, and she has to die because she’s a Jedi during Order 66.” I think it’s pretty exciting because now it opens things up. Maybe she’s not around for Order 66.” Most people really didn’t say that. Very few people have actually said to me, “Well, she could leave the Jedi Order. I think fans have approached Ahsoka’s fate almost in a black and white way, where, okay, if she’s a Jedi, she has to die. It’s really such an amazing storyline that I think it opens up so many more possibilities for Ahsoka. IGN TV: So what was your reaction to seeing how that was going to end and that she was really going to leave the Jedi Order like that? Ashley Eckstein: It was definitely shocking, but in a great way. ![]()

The line between reality and fiction is very blurry in “Dave.” Is it true that your character is the only one not based on a real person in Dave’s life? “If the showrunner of ‘House of the Dragon’ had to do the music for the show before writing it, and then had to act in ‘House of the Dragon,’” she said, “our minds would be blown.” And while Ko sympathizes with fans who are starving for more official Lil Dicky music, she said each season of “Dave” is like a visual album. Sitting down with Variety, Ko discussed the penultimate episode of “Dave” Season 3, her own directorial aspirations and Lil Dicky’s process, which involves penning an entire album of songs before writing each season. By the end of the episode, the only woman Dave can turn to is his hyperrealistic $7,000 sex doll. Meanwhile, he’s written a Drake-like ode to his dream girl, Rachel McAdams - yes, playing herself in a multi-episode arc - and fantasizes about asking her to star in the music video. As his friendship with Emma begins to fray, so does his relationship with budding flame Robyn (Chloe Bennet), as Dave fails to so much as mention her in the film when discussing his search for romance. ![]() ![]() ![]() Mi familia and friends, co-conspiring with young people, keeping a connection to land (my toes in the soil and soil under my nails), learning from plantitas, the beach (salt and sunshine on my skin), self-care, music and dancing, Julie mangoes and cheeses of all kinds, being active (running, triathlons, quad roller skating, gymnastics, CrossFit), my spirituality and faith, being creative, my two fur babies, books and reading, learning and growing, doulaing, community organising and honoring my elders and ancestors. This book is just the first two trades put together. When I saw the prices of the back issues on the secondary market, I got rid of my issues and purchased the TPBs. Some people opt to place this in publication order, but the way I have it mapped, it is just a matter of swapping some volumes around on the shelf. ![]() If you’re using the trades, the story is put at the end of the second trade, and it’s easier to place it before #25. If you’re using the original issues, it’s just as easy to leave it in place. The backup story from #25 could go in a few different places. If you want to focus just on Snyder, cut out all of the issues outside of the main Batman series (although I would keep Batman: Dark Knight #0 and Detective #0). That book obviously got expanded with the yearlong arc by Snyder. Prior to the announcement of Zero Year, I had planned to do a “Batman: Zero” book of the #0 issues which covered the early years of Batman and family’s career. Batman #21-23 (Bruce Wayne backup stories) I tried to limit it to as much pure Snyder work as possible, but there are some other issues added in to help make a cohesive whole. ![]() Probably the highlight of DC’s “New 52″ era was the Scott Snyder run of Batman. ![]() ![]() ![]() The people working at the department asked Firoozeh to talk with the little boy and when Firoozeh claimed that she could not because they don’t speak the same language, they got confused because they believed that every person from the Middle East speaks the same language.
